Grow in Groups

Grow in Groups

In addition to gathering for worship, we seek to know each other and grow together in smaller groups. We provide multiple options but encourage everyone to be in at least one small group opportunity. In the Bible God’s people ate together, helped with each other’s needs, studied God’s Word together, and spent time praying together. Our groups focus on different aspects of those Biblical priorities that will help us act like God’s people, the church, and help us look more like Jesus in our personal lives.

Community Groups

Community Groups are designed to give you a closer connection to a small group of families in our congregation. Community Groups meet at least twice a month throughout the school year and care for each other whenever needed. Community Groups discuss sermons, pray, and help each other grow spiritually. Community Groups are a way to support and be there for one another as a spiritual family. Community Groups are generally geographically based. Contact John Whitenack to get help plugging into a group. Jwhitenack@insidepbc.com

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sundays 9 a.m.
Sunday Morning Bible Studies are used primarily to equip our adults with a solid Biblical/ Theological foundation. We use a loosely age graded structure and our classes study materials that fit major life stages. The classes pray for one another and then open God’s Word to see how it informs daily life. It is our vision that every adult is trained to walk well as a follower of Jesus in everyday life.

Providence:Men

Men's Ministry

Our men gather for early mornings, lunches, or in the evening around town to study Scripture and help each other grow. We get in each other’s business, pray, and walk through life together. Talk to Nic Teasley to sign up. nicteasley@gmail.com

Providence:Women

Women's Ministry

Our women meet in small groups to study God’s Word and gather for several large group events. Our ladies go to Gatlinburg in the fall and gather for meals near Christmas and in the spring. Through the school year, we have groups that meet around town in the morning, at lunch, and in the evenings. Ladies prepare for the lesson through Bible studies then talk together with a leader. The groups also spend time praying and helping each other through life’s struggles. Contact Sara Stegall to sign up for a group. Sarastegall@gmail.com
