Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday Morning Worship | 10:30

The weekly worship gathering of the church is a priority at Providence.  We read God’s Word together, pray together, sing together, and listen attentively to the preached Word together.

Our music is modern in style yet with a strong emphasis on great hymns of the faith and rich lyrical content.  The primary singers are not those on stage but rather the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice.   As a church, we offer corporate prayers of praise and confession, hear Scripture read, and give our offerings and tithes.

The preaching at Providence is expositional, meaning that we typically study verse by verse through books of the Bible seeking to declare what the passage means in its context, and how it applies to our lives. We alternate between the Old and New Testaments with all messages being driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s overarching story of God’s redemption of sinners through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
