John grew up in the Denver area but moved to the Nashville area in 2008. He trusted Christ when he was 9 and was baptized. God changed John’s plans for life after his freshman year of high school when God called John to be a pastor. After seminary at SouthWestern Baptist in Fort Worth, TX, he served as children’s pastor in a church in the Dallas area. John never dreamed he would end up and in the South, but now cannot imagine ever leaving Nashville. He loves the opportunity to share God’s Gospel in the middle of everyday life with families and individuals at Providence. John’s dream girl Raluca flipped his world around in 2007 when he married his Romanian love. Their children Princess Emma and Nathan the dude of America make every day exciting. When he is not completing his dissertation, John loves woodworking and keeping saltwater fish and corals.
